Full colour CMYK printing is a process where a single piece of plain vinyl is colour printed with a text or logo image and cut around its area which is then printed with a heatpress at a temperature of over 160 degrees.
This creates bold and vibrant fully coloured designs with the ability to suit low quantities at competetive prices. Better suited for more complex company designs with multi colour rather than the simple vinyl heatpress.
Printing size is normally within A4 or 12 x 12 inch which is sufficient for most designs with front and back area printing.
For the best results the artwork needs to be at least 300dpi or better still fully vectorised ai, eps, cdr svg format which can be scaled to any size without loss of quality. Set up fees may be required if the design is low resoloution.
The vinyl material is most suitable for your cotton, poly cotton mix clothing. Great for polyester which are thin and low in weight where sometimes embroidery can be too heavy for the item.
This is a durable print process and can last for years to come however for best longevity the printed garments should be washed inside out and at low 30 deg and not to be tumble dried or at high temperatures.
Colour pantones can be matched via CMYK reference numbers to match company brand and design.
